Participants will come face to face with Nicaraguan students and share stories about food, culture, day to day realities and more. The goal is to fundraise $20,000 to build 10 Community Gardens throughout the region of BOSAWAS rainforest reserve of Nicaragua - where many people are currently facing food shortages & high rates of poverty. Gardens will improve seed diversity, ensure food for children & improve nutrition - which will also increase learning potential for school children.
